Kumawood actor Joseph Osei, famously known as Wayoosi, has stated how he lost courage in enduring the kidney disease he suffered .
In 2016, it was reported in news that Wayoosi was suffering from a kidney disease .
Recounting how the disease started , he noted at that point, he was informed both kidneys were not working as expected and must be placed on dialysis.
He told Pure FM in an interview, that since he didn’t like a situation where his family would suffer in taking care about his medical bills, combined with the pain he was going through, he petitioned God to end his life.
The actor disclosed that he had to be placed on dialysis multiple times consistently. He further stated that one dialysis costs GH¢1,000 at that point, consequently he paid GH¢3000 consistently.
Wayoosi stated that he questioned if he would make it considering the sort of help he expected to make it .
He noted that he woke up from
unconsciousness to see Lord Kenya praying to God for him by his bed. The actor said he was then in a ward where specialists didn’t permit guests.
Thus, he was astounded to see the Hiplife artiste turned man of God praying to God for him.
Wayoosi added that Lord Kenya let him know he would live to share his testimony to the world.
The actor said he was thankful yet the dialysis went on for some time until his doctor took the decision to release him.
Wayoosi expressed that he was discharged when he had not completely recuperated regardless required help to do essential things like utilizing the washroom.
In any case, the doctor in the wake of analyzing him felt what was need was for him to strictly take his drugs.
