The Founder and leader of Thy Word Miracle Worship Centre, Prophet Dr Ebenezer Mensah has admonished government to fully resolve in committing a budgetary allocation for investment in large-scale herbal medicine production in the country.
Prophet Dr. Ebenezer Mensah who is a Chief Executive of Thy Word Herbal Clinic and producer of over three hundred different herbal medicine or products noted that Ghana has huge herbal resources that can serve the health needs of the citizenry, indicating that there was the need for government to establish infrastructural facilities and build the capacity of the herbal medicine practitioners to help revolutionarise local herbal medicine in the country.
Prophet Ebenezer Mensah noted that when government fully resolve to support large-scale production of herbal medicine, it will create employment for the teeming unemployed youth in the country, and thus stop a situation where some government officials travel to abroad to seek for medical treatment under huge cost to the state.
“ I’m appealing to government officials to show interest in developing herbal medicine in the country. I tell you, if they can do that, they will not travel to abroad again to spend considerable sums of cedis for medical treatment.”
Prophet Dr. Ebenezer Mensah made this remarks when he was speaking to Ghanaian Watch Digital Newspaper in an exclusive interview at Bosore Saaman near Akate Farms in the Kwabre East Municipality of Ashanti region.
Prophet Dr. Ebenezer Mensah who spoke to this reporter on several issues including general health and spiritual liberty and protection, mentioned that he has been endowed by God to treat people who are sick with stroke, epilepsy, kidney failure and its related complications, diabetes, hepatitis, sexual weakness and other forms of physical and spiritual diseases.
He expressed a deep concern about how some pastors and prophets take advantage of vulnerable people who come to them for spiritual assistance, but end up extorting money from them under the pretext of healing them from their afflictions.
Prophet Ebenezer Mensah who has been in the prophetic and pastoral ministry for the past twenty-two years stressed that a lot of these so-called men of God do not have the calling of God on their lives, yet out of greediness they have resorted to fraudulent means to swindle out unsuspecting Ghanaians of their hard-earned money to enrich themselves.
He urged the so-called men of God to have sympathy on their congregations and people who visit them for spiritual help, as their extorted money cannot save them from the wrath and judgement of God.

Prophet Ebenezer Mensah was of the much conviction that there are countless genuine prophets in the country, irrespective of the current influx of false prophets and their diabolic activities.
He stressed that it was wrong and in total contravention to the word of God for any prophets to charge people to pay a consultation fee before they attend to them.
