Former President John Dramani Mahama has jabbed the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo government blaming it for running the country into an economic crisis .
Former President John Dramani Mahama made this statement in an interview with Ugandan channel, NBS TV, indicating that Ghana was running into debt and government didn’t have anything to show for its wanton borrowing .
“It’s been something like six years up to this point since i left office ,the country is in crisis . We are running into debt. The government has borrowed more than 270 billion cedis, and nothing remains to be displayed for it,” he focused.
John Mahama spoke to a wide scope of issues in the interview from his experience as president, through to his break of office and plans to recontest in the races.
Recently, he delivered a talk on the condition of the country named “Ghana At A Crossroads,” in which he pummeled government on a progression of issues – from economic mismanagement,abuse of democratic institution and the determination to cancel the Electronic Transfer Levy (E-Levy) whenever elected into office in 2024.
