The Vice President ,Dr Mahamudu Bawumia joined veterans, officials and men of the Ghana Military and the other security services on Friday, 11 November to observe the 77th Remembrance Day Service at the Christiansburg War Graveyard, Accra.
Remembrance Day is a dedication day observed in Commonwealth member states since the end of World War to honour armed forces who have passed on in the line of duty.
Following a custom initiated by Lord George V in 1919, the day is likewise set apart by war remembrances in many non-Commonwealth nations.
Several dignitaries present at the occasion were Ministers in charge of the security sector , Chiefs as well as members from the Diplomatic Corps
