The Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ has slapped another sanctions against former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Public Procurement Authority (PPA) Adjenim Boateng Adjei. Mr Adjenim Boateng Adjei also has been barred from holding public office for the next 10 years while he is to refund to the state GH¢5,697,530 within six months. A 34-year-old businessman, Ibrahim Jawab, has lost several thousand of Ghana cedis after a raging fire engulfed a compound house with 11 rooms and and over five stores at Aboabo near Tamale main bus stop in the Northern Region. The fire which occured last Sunday dawn destroyed several properties belonging to the occupants including thousand of cedis , provisions, clothes, foodstuff, glasses, among others. The Gambia Truth, Reconciliation and Reparations Commission, TRRC, has found former President Yahya Jammeh and 13 others criminally liable for the unlawful killing, torture and enforced disappearances of about 67 West African migrants, including about 44 Ghanaians and recommended their prosecution.
